Hi everyone! How are you?
Doing well?
I'm still feel like I'm in winter vacation...
Today, I'll let you know about "Food Sample"!
This is Japanese culture and art!
Have you ever heard about it?
this picture is food sample!
Don't you think it's sooo real?
I love to see and touch 'em!
Most parts made of vinyl chlorides.
Mixing color ink , pour into a mold
and painting by hand piece by piece.
because a little bit expensive.
But it's sooo good.
Can you distinguish which one is real sushi?
1

2
No.1 is real sushi and other one is food sample!

Don't you think that's wonderful!
I've heard about sushi food-sample keychain or strap are popular for foreigners! Especially shrimp sushi is popular!

Recently, in Japan, "Sweets motif" is popular among teen-age girls.
They love especially "Macaroon motif" Keychain, strap and necklaces!

Now this Food sample became Japanese pop culture!
I think every Food Sample is wonderful art!

Coming-of-Age Day!

Hi everyone! How was your winter vacation?
Did you went back to your home town?
Did you enjoy new years day?
I'll let you know about Japanese Comming-Of-Age-Day!
because I had this winter vacation!
Yes! I'm gonna be 20-year-old!
I think I miss teen age... but, I have some hope for becoming 20!

Official Comming-Of-Age Day is January's 2nd Sunday.
but, it depends on districts. because in country side, many people go out for university or working. and my hometown is in country side. so I had Comming-Of-Age day on January 4th.

Girls wear a Kimono. It called "Hare-gi, 晴れ着"
Boys wear a suit and tie or Hakama. most boys wear suit.
Blue one is Hakama. This is Japanese traditional boys wear.
My "Hare-gi" was my mother's older sister's one.
because of different from other one!
I'm lovin' it!
Coming-of-Age is like Sweet Sixteen in the U.S.
I think we have to realize we had responsible adults from this day.
We are not child anymore.
I wanna be strong and fabulous woman!
